Happy 2024, everyone. I’d apologize for the lack of posts, but I’m not going to because let’s be real- no one is reading them over the holidays anyway. And just remember: If you don’t make New Years Resolutions, you can’t break New Years resolutions, so you can’t fail!
Couple of updates: First and foremost, my good friend Mark Sibley has *finally* finished his long awaited, near mythical sequel to his phenomenal debut book ‘Mongol Moon’. You can get it on Amazon here. The follow up is ‘A Dance of Devils’ and is currently with the advanced readers, of whom I’m not apparently not prestigious enough to be a part of.
Still, the grievous personal insult aside, it promises to be phenomenal, so make sure to follow Mark on X and like his Author page on Amazon.
Second, (to my great surprise) one of my short stories made Tangent Online’s 2023 Reading List. Anotehr good friend of mine, Jamie Ibson, who edits and publishes some really amazing stuff both independently and for Chris Kennedy sent me the list- Said he ran into some people at LibertyCon that got an anthology I was in to a reviewer and they liked it enough to put onto the list. So, now that’s an indelible fact for now until forever: My work is considered ‘Essential Reading’. We all knew it, but this just confirms it.
As for other stuff, The Fae Wars continues chugging along- The current one is at about 65k and climbing towards a…shall we say… ‘explosive’ finale. Hope those filthy elves like barbecue. Later this week, I’ll drop some preview snips of what I’ve got thus far just to keep you all interested. Stay frosty, everyone!
